Wedding Albums and Photo Books

Wedding Albums and Prints

There is nothing quite like having a tangible print to hold, share, and cherish. Sadly, so many couples only will view their photos on their computer or phone, but after spending so much time and effort on your wedding, I truly believe your photos deserve to be printed and showcased in a high quality album or print.

* If you eloped and are having a reception at a later date, creating a wedding album with blank pages throughout is a great guest book idea for them to sign! You can also do this with your engagement session!

Why would I get an album through you instead of Shutterfly?

The album you order through your gallery is sent to a professional lab that only allow professional photographer’s to order from. These albums are premium quality and built to last, usually hand-bound with top-quality inks.

Creating your own wedding album is also super time confusing and can be quite confusing. This is a service that I also offer to makes things easier!

What is the design cost breakdown?

I choose the photos + design: $250
You choose your favorites, I design: $200
You choose the photos + design: FREE

You’ll have the opportunity to proof each page through your gallery and personally let me know of any notes you’d like me to change before we send it off for printing. Super easy!

Side note if you want to DIY it: Your online gallery can automatically generate an album with a layout preset. You can change any of the photos, design, etc, or you can start from scratch. If you’re not sure where to start, the auto-generated album is my recommendation!

How many photos should I choose?

The number of photos you need will depend on how big your album is. (Lay flat albums can hold up to 30 spreads – which is 60 pages) For a 60 page album, your chosen photos should not be more than 150 from your entire gallery.

You want your album to tell the story of your wedding day, but you don’t need to include

every photograph.

Focus on trying to keep it a lot more simple. Try to limit your selection to include the ones that really make you feel the feels and bring you right back into each moment.

Overall, I recommend choosing an average of 1-3 photos per page to avoid overloading the album. You may lose the impact and the “wow” factor on your absolute favorite photographs if they’re overcrowded by lots of other photos.
