My coverage begins with 2 hours and I find that to be the absolute "minimum" needed to capture the story of your elopement day. For example, and engagement session is typically 1 hour long, so at the very least, 1 hour of your elopement will be photos of you, while the other hour will be your ceremony, getting ready and/or photos with any guests. With that being said, my average booked time is 4 hours of coverage. I work closely with my couples to figure out what coverage is needed to suit their needs.

HOW MUCH COVERAGE DO WE NEED FOR OUR ELOPEMENT?

Most of the elopements I book are held at non-traditional venues (such as a Airbnb, a family home, state/national parks, etc.) I do take a very limited amount of weddings at traditional wedding venues if they align with my documentary style and have a focus on intimacy + nature.

DO YOU PHOTOGRAPH WEDDINGS AT VENUES?

While traveling is one of my biggest passions, I only shoot New England events for several reasons!
I believe you deserve a photographer that you can trust and is an expert in the elopement location you choose, instead of just trying to fill my portfolio with epic landscapes from all around the world.
I spend a lot of time location scouting, exploring, camping and hiking all over New England. I have compiled lists of beautiful locations as well as knowledge of the area so I can help my couples find a stunning and unique setting for their day. 

DO YOU OFFER DESTINATION ELOPEMENT PACKAGES?

The only requirement for payment is a retainer fee with final balance due 2 weeks before your event. 

Retainer fees:
$1000 for Elopements
50% for Sessions 

After the retainer is paid, you can choose to make payments whenever you'd like. The final balance is due 2 weeks before your elopement and 3 days before your session.

HOW DOES PAYMENT WORK? DO YOU HAVE PAYMENT PLANS?

While I find that personal connections make for the best experiences and I would love to get together beforehand to chat about the details, I do live pretty remotely so most communication will be done via email, phone or text. I am available for any questions and planning help that you may need - my average response time is always 24-48 hours. 

DO YOU HAVE FACE-TO-FACE MEETINGS WITH CLIENTS ONCE BOOKED?

I try to edit my galleries in a way that will look good forever. My photograph are neither "dark and moody" or "light and airy". I like rich colors, contrast, and clean skin tones that are true to the day. While trendy editing styles can be fun and I do throw in a few creative shots here and there, I want your gallery to stand the test of time.

what is your editing style like?

Absolutely 100% yes. All are welcome here and that will always be the case. 

are you lgbtq friendly?

For engagement sessions, I recommend scheduling a primary date and a backup just in case we get poor weather. While I can shoot in lighter rain or clouds, heavy winds/rain/snow can sometimes be difficult (not only for me, but you!) I'll always check in the day before to confirm we are good to go for your session. If the weather is looking bad, the driving conditions are unsafe or it will create a bad experience for us, we will reschedule, at no additional cost.

For elopements, I always come prepared with clear umbrellas and gear to protect my cameras. I shoot regularly in negative winter temps and I'm totally down to brave the elements if you are!
